Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to Manage our service division. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing service schedules, coordinating with customers and technicians, managing parts inventory, and ensuring overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Organise the monthly service schedule using the Tradify platform.
2. Manage parts ordering and receiving, including staging for service team use and accurate data entry for parts and cost updates.
3. Schedule service appointments with customers and coordinate the schedules of service technicians.
4. Consolidate the monthly service schedule, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
5. Review service reports and initiate follow-up actions if additional work is required.
6. Maintain clear and effective communication with customers.
7. Ensure timely resolution of customer issues by actively following up until closure.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Dedication to safety and compliance is paramount.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, or production/assembly-plant working conditions is advantageous.
• Experience in a workshop or repair environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Forklift license is desirable.
• Background in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration trades, or Air Compressor experience is a plus.
• Possess a flexible, professional, and proactive attitude with a thirst for learning.
• Energetic and passionate about achieving optimal results for both the business and customers.

About the role:
Service Manager/ Team Leader
Your day might include:
• Regular maintenance & service of compressed air equipment
• Installation of pipe systems
• Fitting and assembling mechanical components
• Troubleshooting and fixing equipment on the spot
• Performing maintenance and upgrades
• Working independently and solving problems in the field
Requirements of the Role:
• Mechanical, Fitter or electrical experience: or a trade qualification/background, compressed air experienced is desirable.
• Good Communication, Collaboration with the Sales and Administration teams is vital, and you will also contribute valuable leads to the sales department.
• The role entails servicing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting compressors and related compressed air equipment on-site or at our clients’ locations.
• You will also be responsible for conducting functionality tests on compressors and compressed air equipment.
• Overseeing the installation of air compressors, refrigerated dryers, and related equipment.
• Reach out to customers for scheduled service and preventive maintenance.
• Occasional out of state travel.
• A valid driver’s license: as the role does require daily travel to our customer sites.
